BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

I was born in South Carolina, the second of four girls. My father was a colonel in the Army. So, I have lived in England, Hawaii, and many places in between. My family was actively involved in church, but I did not accept Christ as my personal Savior until college. I have served Him in many capacities since, as wife, businesswoman, mother and teacher.

LIFE VERSE

Romans 12:1-2: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have nine years of home schooling experience.

FAMILY

I have been married for 21 years to Rob, and we have 3 children. Tyler, Grace, and Faith. My in-laws live in a home we built, that is attached to ours.

HOBBIES

Women’s Bible study groups, house renovation and construction.

WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT TEACHING

I like the thrill of knowing that I am training children in “life skills.” Second grade is such a key time in development, and a sweet age to teach. I also enjoy infusing God’s word into the lessons.
