BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

I was born in Lynchburg on December 9, 1967. I was saved at the age of 12 in my youth group. I graduated from Lynchburg Christian Academy and then went on to graduate from Liberty University with a BS Degree in Elementary Education.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught first grade for twelve years at Temple Christian School.

FAMILY

My husband, Joe, is the Middle School Bible Teacher at Temple Christian School. Our family consists of two sons. Scott is eleven years old and loves to play ball and ride his bike. He will be in sixth grade at TCS. Our second son, Jonathon, is ten years old and loves to play with his brother and swim. He will be in fifth grade at TCS. We also have a dog, Ginger.

HOBBIES

I enjoy camping, reading and swimming. I also love to go to yard sales and cook in the crock-pot.

WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT TEACHING

I love seeing the children learn and grasp new concepts. During the year, it’s wonderful to see how the children grow in the Lord.
