BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
I was born in Plant City, FL., to Lowell and Linda Sweat. Eventually, the Lord “blessed” me with two brothers, Tom and Marty. As a second grader, my mother led me to the Lord. After graduating from Providence Christian School, in Riverview, FL., I enrolled at Baptist University of America in Decatur, GA., where I received a BS Degree in Secondary Education. In 1980, I began teaching at Florence Christian School, in Florence, SC. Currently, I am working on my
M. Ed. through Regent University, and hope to graduate in May of 2007.

WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT TEACHING
Teaching is an enjoyable experience for me because I am allowed to interact with young people on a daily basis. It’s exciting to watch students achieve in areas that they once thought were difficult. To be able to stimulate a student’s interest in learning is immeasurable. However, probably the most important reason that I enjoy teaching is that I have the opportunity to make a difference in some young person’s life.
