Theme for 2012: A Mighty Fortress Is Our God
On Sunday mornings throughout the year of 2012, Pastor J.D. Surbaugh will be preaching a series on the theme, "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God." The theme verse will be Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." The sermons will be posted on the website as they become available. This series will minister to you regardless of the trials you are facing. It will help you to be reminded that Almighty God is the refuge you can run to, and find peace and shelter from the storms of life.
Celebrating 40 Years of Ministry (1971-2011)
Temple Baptist Church has experienced four decades of God’s faithfulness to this fellowship. During the next twelve months we will pause and remember God’s blessings upon us. Each month during the year we will feature a ministry that the Lord has used to bless His people and bring many to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The psalmist David repeatedly brings to our attention the importance of remembering God’s gracious works. “Remember his marvelous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth.” (Psalm 105:5).
