Paul
exhorted the Hebrew Christians, "to not forsake
the assembling of yourselves together." Quite often
we arrive at the conclusion that "going it alone" is the way to go. However, we really do need each other.
God made us that way! In His family we are interrelated...fellow
members of the body of Christ. Our lives touch each
other. A common bond of love, care, compassion, support,
and forgiveness holds us together.
We
that make up this fellowship, Temple Baptist Church,
have been richly blessed in our opportunity to worship
together. We are able to say, even as David said, "O
Lord, I love the habitation of thy house, and the place
where thy glory dwells."
May
we go forth from this place proclaiming the gospel of
our blessed Lord Jesus Christ.
To
God Be Thy Glory!

Our theme for 2008 will be "KNOW THE TRUTH - BE MADE FREE."
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32. During the ministry of the Lord Jesus some paid attention to His wors without necessarily committing themselves to Him personally (John 6:53). It was possible to "believe" in the message of repentance and the coming kingdom without being born again. Continuing in THE TRUTH is the sign of true followers and learners (disciples). If they really grasped His message, they would find SALVATION TRUTH. Knowing this SALVATION TRUTH would liberate them from their bondage of sin.
